We understand that everyone has a budget for their project. Naturally some people may want to get more involved than others. At Phoenix TImber Buildings we cater for everyone.

At Phoenix we can offer a complete turn-key solution. For those more practically minded let us simply just install the shell building. Ask a member of our sales team for a free quotation.

We simply print a list of all the available options and you choose which ones you want us to do for you. We like to call it pick and mix, and are the only company locally to offer such flexibility.

Site visit & Consultation.

If you have decided that you want a timber building in your garden and have a design in mind then we can provide a complimentary site visit to your site to discuss your design and then provide you with a quote.

Even if you don’t have a design in mind then we can come out and our experienced staff will be able to advise you on what they think would work in the area that you wish to put your new building in and of course the size of the building that you could achieve.

Estimates & Quotation.

Need a quote for a timber building for your garden?

Well we will happily provide you with a free of charge quotation on any building that you would like. We work out the costs for your new building either by coming to site and looking at it ourselves or by you providing us with an outline sketch of the size and where your doors and windows will go. All we need to know is what your building will be used for so that we can price it on the correct product.

Building Drawings and Planning Applications.

In most cases you do not need planning permission to install a Phoenix garden building, providing it meets the following criteria:

• The building is not in the grounds of a listed building or in a conservation area
• The building is at least 1m away from the boundary
• The building is not within 5m of your house (unless its volume is less than 10m)
• The height of the roof ridge does not exceed 4m at the highest point in your garden
• The footprint of the building does not cover more than 50% of the grounds surrounding your house
• The footprint does not cover more than 30m and the building must be used by the occupants of the main house

These are guidelines, and if you are in any doubt about compliance you should contact your local planning authority before any work commences. For a fixed fee we can provide you with 1:50 scaled elevation and plan drawings to accompany a planning application.

If you need to apply for planning permission, but wish to place a deposit on a building in order to secure it at the quoted price, you can do so. Normally all deposits are non-refundable, but we take planning as an exception. If you place an order and then planning permission is refused, we will refund you deposit minus our administration costs.

Piece of mind is essential when buying any product. That is why at Phoenix we guarantee all of our buildings. We provide 2 years call out cover against faulty parts and workmanship, and a 5 year guarantee against rot of timber providing the building has been treated on a regular basis.
